Avalanche not too concerned about increase of contact for goalies

“Goaltenders are definitely receiving more contact from opposing skaters than in recent seasons, with some wondering if it’s time to reintroduce rules to protect them more.
Avalanche goalie Craig Anderson doesn’t seem concerned either way.
“If the GMs want to do something about it, they will,” Anderson said. “It’s out of my control. But that’s the way the game is now. You’re trying to create more interference with the goalie, because if goalies can see the puck, they’re going to stop it.”
Anderson has taken a few hard collisions this season and hasn’t been shy jabbing his stick back in response.
